About 7000COILS

7000COILS is a black-owned independent record label and holistic wellness movement rooted in the ritualistic sound alchemy of the African Diaspora crafted by kkingboo and Lalin St. Juste.

The brand identity is rooted in the story of the Vudu spiritual god, Damballah. Vudu societies view Damballah as the primordial creator; they created the cosmos by using their 7,000 coils to form the stars and the planets in the heavens and to shape the hills and valleys of earth.
